Once a barrel making facility, the Cooperage is now a beautifully redesigned, green, and bustling community hub that boasts professional sound, lighting, and stage for high-quality performances. Seating max is around 130 with standing room around 150-170. Additionally, we have a converted parking lot — turned “pocket park” — in front of our building where we can host outdoor programs and concerts in the warmer months. Over the 12+ years of our existence, we have hosted somewhere near 400 musical performances, spanning the genres – folk, jazz, classical, hardcore, country, avant-garde, electronic, brass and big bands, pop, and hip hop.

Deep Water Literary Festival was founded in 2018, as a weekend of ideas, performance and community engagement held in the town of Narrowsburg, on the Delaware River NY. Combining author conversations, readings, and educational outreach, with multi disciplinary arts programming, Deep Water goes beyond the standard model of a writers festival and invites the audience to engage in the world of books beyond the page. Visiting writers have included Azmat Khan, Barbara Demick, Masha Gessen, Joyce Carol Oates, Jeremiah Moss, Rebecca Solnit, Emily Wilson, Joyce Maynard, and Caroline Kepnes.

The park consists of 1,409 acres and features Lake Superior and Chestnut Ridge Pond. It is operated by the County of Sullivan pursuant to a Cooperative Agreement with the Palisades Interstate Park Commission.
The County operates Lake Superior's Beach Area (seasonal fee), which features a swimming area, sand beach, picnic areas with grills, group picnic pavilion (fee), kayak (single & double), rowboat and pedal boat rentals, boat launch (electric motors only), vending machines, restrooms, shower/changing area, fishing (New York State DEC fishing license required), volleyball court and playground (ages 5-12).

As an open-air outdoor music festival held among majestic pine trees and green ferns on the grounds of the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary in White Mills, Pennsylvania, we are fortunate to have the best location to enjoy the amazing performers that grace our stage.
