Buck Brook Alpacas has been a labor of love for the McElroy family since its inception in 2013. Rooted in our passion for animals, our farm invites you to discover the enchanting world of alpacas. Feed them special grain, embark on a leisurely walking trek, or delve into the art of alpaca husbandry. Our charming on-site farm store showcases an array of handmade alpaca products, crafted from the fleece of our beloved herd.

At the Callicoon Farmers’ Market, you will find many farms in addition to food producers and artisans offering wine, hard cider, pasta, condiments, prepared foods, baked goods, ice cream, jam, honey, maple syrup, herbal tea blends, skin care products, pottery, We are a "producer only market" meaning all vendors either grow or produce their own goods and operate within 75 miles.

The Callicoon Theater was built in 1948 and is the oldest continually operated cinema in Sullivan County. This historic country movie theater recalls a bygone era, while providing a state of the art experience using the latest projection and sound technology. Catskill Art Space (CAS) explores contemporary art practices of emerging and established artists. Through exhibitions, performances, classes, lectures and screenings, CAS fosters creative community in the Catskills.

The Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum is dedicated to preserving the heritage of fly fishing in the Catskills and educating the next generation of anglers and conservationists. Situated in the birthplace of American dry fly fishing, our multifaceted museum and 50 acres of grounds on the banks of the famed Willowemoc provide a vibrant cultural hub with a global reach.

Once a barrel making facility, the Cooperage is now a beautifully redesigned, green, and bustling community hub that boasts professional sound, lighting, and stage for high-quality performances. Seating max is around 130 with standing room around 150-170. Additionally, we have a converted parking lot — turned “pocket park” — in front of our building where we can host outdoor programs and concerts in the warmer months. Over the 12+ years of our existence, we have hosted somewhere near 400 musical performances, spanning the genres – folk, jazz, classical, hardcore, country, avant-garde, electronic, brass and big bands, pop, and hip hop.

Since 1913, Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County (CCESC) has responded to the needs of local residents with unbiased, research-based information, tools and education that people have come to depend on and trust. Our programs are developed in direct response to community input, and are based on the most current information available from Cornell and other Land Grant universities from across the nation.

Deep Water Literary Festival was founded in 2018, as a weekend of ideas, performance and community engagement held in the town of Narrowsburg, on the Delaware River NY. Combining author conversations, readings, and educational outreach, with multi disciplinary arts programming, Deep Water goes beyond the standard model of a writers festival and invites the audience to engage in the world of books beyond the page. Visiting writers have included Azmat Khan, Barbara Demick, Masha Gessen, Joyce Carol Oates, Jeremiah Moss, Rebecca Solnit, Emily Wilson, Joyce Maynard, and Caroline Kepnes.

We seek to foster a community connection for residents and visitors to the lands and waters that are our home and to the wildlife and plant life that share this region as well. Our workshops also offer practical information for landowners interested in protecting their land with a conservation easement and/or learning more about good stewardship practices.

The Honesdale Roots & Rhythm Music Festival committee has been bringing the most top shelf Blues, Rock, Americana, Roots & Jazz touring bands to the community and surrounding area by delivering this fun family event since 2006. Kittatinny is the pioneer of the river outfitting industry and has been operating on the Delaware river for 80 years! Our multiple locations are strategically located to provide a diverse selection of Delaware River trips. The park consists of 1,409 acres and features Lake Superior and Chestnut Ridge Pond. It is operated by the County of Sullivan pursuant to a Cooperative Agreement with the Palisades Interstate Park Commission.
The County operates Lake Superior's Beach Area (seasonal fee), which features a swimming area, sand beach, picnic areas with grills, group picnic pavilion (fee), kayak (single & double), rowboat and pedal boat rentals, boat launch (electric motors only), vending machines, restrooms, shower/changing area, fishing (New York State DEC fishing license required), volleyball court and playground (ages 5-12).

The Liberty Museum, as it is commonly called, has a dual mission of presenting creative arts as well as programs of local and regional history. With events each season in a converted barn (our main concert home); a distillery; a country inn; a farmer’s market; a church lawn; a repurposed school; and an old mill-turned-gallery, we bring our work straight to the people wherever they are. Our commitment to what we see as an essential mix of standard repertoire, new music, encounters with living composers, and improvisation, ensures that our audiences come to see chamber music as a vital, contemporary, evolving art form, one that speaks directly to them, of their lives and their shared humanity.

As an open-air outdoor music festival held among majestic pine trees and green ferns on the grounds of the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary in White Mills, Pennsylvania, we are fortunate to have the best location to enjoy the amazing performers that grace our stage. Seating is on the grass in our natural graded amphitheater, so please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on as chairs are not provided. Picnics and beverages of your choice are permitted at all outdoor concerts.
